Corey Dee Laird, age 28 of Bolivar, MO, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021, in his home.  He was born October 25, 1992, in Bolivar, MO, to Stephen and Deana Laird.  He was a kind and caring person that would do anything for you, “he would give you the shirt off his back”.  He was a clown and jokester and always had a smile on his face.

          He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Richard Cox and step grandfather James Mills, and his beloved dog Simon.

          Corey is survived by his parents: Deana Laird and Karson Croswhite of Bolivar, MO, and his father Stephen Laird of Bolivar, MO; his girlfriend Kayla Gallagher and their daughter on the way Eliana Dee Laird of Fayetteville, AR; one brother S. Kyle Laird and Ciara Veerhusen of Rogersville, MO;  three half-sisters: Malissa Unger and husband Ty, Emilee Curbow all of Branson, MO, and Meagan Climer of Bolivar, MO; paternal grandparents Kenny and Linda Laird of Bolivar, MO; maternal grandmother Joan Mills of Bolivar, MO; two step brothers: Kyle and Jeremy Croswhite of Bolivar, MO; one step-sister Shayna Hunter and husband TJ of Raymore, MO; as well as many other relatives and friends.

          Visitation will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.  Corey’s body will be cremated at a later date.  In lieu of plants and flowers memorial contributions are suggested to help Corey’s unborn daughter: The Eliana Dee Laird memorial fund c/o of Oak Star Bank 340 S.
