Cyra Howard Betzler, age 66, was called home on January 28, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri. Cy was born to Donald C. and Mary (Bartell) Betzler on August 29, 1958, in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He was raised in Houston, Texas. Cy was united in marriage to Anna Marra on July 5,1986. Cy and Anna shared forty-four years together, thirty-nine of which were shared in marriage. To this union they were blessed with two sons, Chad and Chase Betzler. Cy enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends. He had a larger-than-life personality and was loved by everyone who met him.

Cy was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Mary Betzler; one brother, Donald G. Betzler; and his nephew, Shane Miller. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna; two sons, Chad Betzler and his wife Jessica of Springfield, Missouri, and Chase Betzler and his wife Holly of Springfield, Missouri; siblings: Pam West and her husband DJ, Dave Betzler and his wife Paula, and Douglas Betzler and his wife Dawnne. Cy was also blessed with six grandchildren: Carlie, Enzo, Hailey, Niles, Aela and Aria.

Cy’s family will host a visitation on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 5:00-8:00 pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield, Missouri. He will be laid to rest at a later date in the Boulder City Municipal Cemetery, located in Boulder City, Nevada.
