Dale Sevrin Mahlberg, age 58, of Panama City , FL, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 in his home. He was born October 20, 1955, in Milwaukee, WI, to Allen and Suzanne (Hornik) Mahlberg. He served in the United States Army. Dale worked as a purchasing agent for a lumber yard in Springfield for most of his working career. Dale enjoyed bowling, billiards, and playing poker.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Mahlberg and his step-father Eugene Liepert. He is survived by five children, Chelsea Mahlberg, Hutto, TX, Kala Largent, Springfield, MO, Noah Largent of Springfield, MO, Dana Mahlberg, Springfield, MO, and Amber Tucker, Springfield, MO; three grandchildren, Jada, Sebastian, and Carter; mother, Suzanne Liepert, Dunnegan, MO; one brother, David Mahlberg Milwaukee WI; two sisters, Deanna Mahlberg of the Hutchinson Kansas and Dawn Covert of Dunnegan, MO; his girlfriend, Pamela Halverson of Panama City, FL; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Greenlawn North Funeral Home . Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
