Daniel Lee Presley, of Bolivar, MO, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 8, 2025, after a lengthy illness of Leukemia.
Dan was born to Ruth (Denney) and Milferd Wayne Presley, who precede him in death, on October 18, 1952, in Springfield, MO. Raised in the Willard and Morrisville area, Dan was saved at the age of eight at Noble Hill Baptist Church. He graduated from Marion C. Early High School in 1970 in Morrisville, where he enjoyed playing basketball and art. He joined the Army reserves out of high school and served for a short time. His creativity turned into making old furniture into lovely, restored antiques. That same passion was ignited with his love of cars as he enjoyed tearing them down and restoring them piece by piece. His mother once said as a child Dan would get a model car for his birthday and put it all together then heat up a butter knife on the stove and start carving on it- turning the model car into a one-of-kind hot rod!
Dan married Teri Lewis January 27th, 1989. Dan owned several businesses from hair salons, restaurants, a donut shop and finally an antique store & bakery where he and his wife, Teri had an opportunity to go back to his love of furniture restoration. He laughingly would comment, “I love turning a sow’s ear into a silk purse!” His creativity was unmatched, and he took countless loads of furniture to Texas where they couldn’t seem to get enough.
Dan is survived by his wife, Teri Presley; his son, Brandon Presley; his brother Stan Presley and wife Kaye; his sister Teresa Presley Cutler and husband Don; his stepmother Connie Presley; brother-in-law Kip Lewis; sister-in-law Sue Pope; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 14, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Pitts Chapel. Funeral services will take place Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Bates officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery Bolivar, MO. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Missions fund through Morrisville Church: 1154 Maple Street Morrisville, MO 65710. Online condolences may be made at: www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.

Sincere condolences to the friends and family of Dan.
I was a classmate of Dan's from the 4th grade onward. He always had a mischievous glint in his eye, and always very kind. You will be greatly missed.
