Daniel William Dooley, age 47, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 26, 2017, while hunting turkey. He suffered a heart attack. Daniel was born in St. Louis, MO on October 24, 1969 to Gary L. and Judy Rush Dooley. He went all 12 years and graduated from Pleasant Hope Schools.
He was saved at an early age at First Baptist Church in Pleasant Hope and was always very faithful to attend. He has made it very clear most recently how much he loves the Lord.
Danny loved hunting deer, turkey and mushrooms and just being outdoors and in the woods. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan as was his dad. He pretty much liked all sports and especially watching his boys play ball. He was employed by Home Court in Bolivar for 6 years.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Alberta Dooley and Claude and Ruth Rush.
He is survived by his fianccee, Ariel Cole, her children, Chance Hawk and Paige Cole of the home, his children, Alisha Dieckhoff and husband Kyle of Republic, Ashley Dooley of Republic, Ethan Dooley and Trevor Dooley of Bolivar, grandchildren, Abigail, Emma and Braden Dieckhoff of Republic, sister, Debbie and husband Mike Kootz of Pleasant Hope, twin brother Dennis Dooley of Bolivar and his parents Gary and Judy Dooley of Pleasant Hope, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation for Daniel will be on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in Pitts Chapel of Greenlawn. Funeral service will be on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with burial following in Rondo Baptist Church Cemetery.
