David Leroy Wooliver, age 66, was born November 7, 1943, and went home to be with his Savior on November 4, 2010.
David drove a truck for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and especially his grandchildren. One of his greatest joys was fishing, and he made a point to take his grandkids every year. He also loved to play cards and dominoes and taught everyone how to play the “right” way. He was famous for his backflips. David was very energetic, fun loving, and was always the first one to help others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Maxine Wooliver; sister, Betty Lou Smith; and brothers, Kenny Joe Wooliver, and Mickey Eugene Wooliver.
He is survived by his children, Jeff and Missy Neas, of Marshfield, Kevin and Shelly Cantrell, of Springfield, and Tony and Christie Foster, of Dunnegan, Mo.; five grandchildren, Haley Brooke Dancy, Ryan Harrison Neas, Hunter Joseph Dancy, Addie Michele Cantrell, and Owen Duane Cantrell; and sisters, Sue Smith, Martha and Vernon Applegate, Cindy and Brad Harding, Linda and Jerry Bunch, Carol Wooliver and James Wiggins, and Rhonda and Chuck Cooper.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 1 p.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Robberson Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 8, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the funeral home.
