David Davidson my beloved husband passed away on August 4 2025 after a 2-year struggle with West Nile virus.  His last 2 years he had numerous hospital stays and care in and out of nursing homes.
He married Claudia Gail Davidson on February 14 1999 and they lived in Springfield, MO for 26 years until his passing. He was born November 14,1957 to Harry and Loretta Davidson of Gainesville, MO.

He is survived by his wife, his mother, one sister, one brother, two daughters, one step daughter, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  He left many friends that he loved.

He was an over-the-road truck driver. Hunting, fishing and drag racing were a big part of his life. He had a passion for gardening and going on mushroom hunts in the spring. He loved spring flowers and good food.

A service will be held at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville MO, August 16th at 2 pm.  Services will be given by Aunt Connie and daughter Samantha Harris. He was saved and baptized, and we know he’s with Jesus. We will see him again.
