Deloris Jean Hicks, 77, of Springfield, went to be with Jesus on January 11, 2019 in her home.
Deloris was born February 4, 1941 in Springfield, Missouri to Virgil Leo and Juanita Lillian Robertson.
She worked for Zenith and retired from Digital Monitoring Products.
She is survived by her children, Rebecca (Cummings) Lugena and husband Brent, Danny and Gwen Cummings, Jerry and Donale Allen, and Ronda Hicks; grandchildren, Justin Essick, Christina Kensinger, Jordan and Molly Summers, Wade and Ambra Robinson, Kourtney Stevens, Sophia Stevens, and Dalton Cummings; great grandchildren, Audrey Kensinger, Hunter Essick, Alyssa Kensinger, Isaac Summers, Emma Summers, Allie Essick, Coral Essick, Izaiyah Stevens, Aria Summers, and Khaleesi Robinson; two sisters, Jan Bilyeu and Joyce Long and husband Richard; one brother Gary and wife Janet Robertson. Deloris was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Hicks; and her parents, Virgil and Juanita Robertson.
A visitation for Deloris will be from 1-2 pm, Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, with graveside services at 2:30 pm at Highlandville Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
