Destany Rae Lockhart, 26, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021, after her battle with pneumonia . She was born in Springfield, Missouri on April 3, 1995 to Shawna McCreary and Boyd Lockhart. For those of you that were blessed to know Destany, you already know what obstacles she has faced in her short 26 yrs of life. She has beat the odds ever since from being told she wouldn’t survive after birth to being told that she could potentially lose her vision, to being told she wouldn’t be able to carry a child. Destany proved there is a lord and savior time and time again. Destany was a person of great talent, she had a beautiful voice which brought out her love for music. Destany also had a passion for cooking and dreamed of going to culinary school one day. She loved being a mother to her son, Kellin, and she loved her animals: Queen, Milo and Scar.

Destany is survived by son: Kellin Fittro; her fiancée: Dalton Fittro; her mother and step-father: Shawna and Robert Kincannon of Yukon, Oklahoma; her father: Boyd Lockhart of Fordland, Missouri; two sisters: Raegan Kerby and Addison Lockhart; three brothers: Tristen Kerby, Kaden Kerby, and Kyler Kerby; her grandmothers: Bonnie Lockhart and Raeann Suter; grandfather: Cliff Bohnstedt and Debra; and great-grandparents: Glenda and Donald McCreary and her great-grandmother: Juanita Bohnstedt. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
