Diana Sue Grant, 78, of Morrisville, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Diana was born on September 6, 1945, in Springfield, Missouri, to Hadley and Hazel (Hobbs) Thomas. She grew up in Buffalo, Missouri, and was a member of the Buffalo Saddle Club, where she enjoyed showing horses with her dad. Diana graduated from Buffalo High School in 1963. She worked in Springfield after high school. She married Larry Grant on July 19, 1975, at Buffalo United Methodist Church. Diana retired from Burrell Behavioral Health after 25 years working in data processing. She was a member of the Buffalo Order of the Eastern Star.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Hadley and Hazel Thomas and her mother and father-in-law, Edwin and Imogene Grant.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Grant; her sons: Todd, and wife, Penny, and Scott, and his wife, Tammy; her daughter, Kelly Grant; 4 grandkids, 6 great-grandkids, and other family and friends.

A visitation for Diana will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. at Pitts Chapel in Bolivar, Missouri. A graveside service will take place at Slagle Cemetery at 9:00a.m. on Monday, August 26, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Diana’s name to the American Heart Association or Slagle Cemetery.
