Donald Eugene Jones, age 79, of Aldrich, Missouri, was called home by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 11, 2025. Donald was born to Marvin Jones and Mary Jones on June 20, 1945 in Springfield, Missouri. Donald was united in marriage to Marilyn Jones.

Donald worked at Colonial Bakery (Earthgrains/SaraLee) for 34 years.  In retirement he enjoyed visiting with friends and family and taking care of his goats and dogs. He became a Believer later in life, and was a member of Eudora Baptist Church for over 20 years.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Jones; mother, Mary Jones; sister, Bonnie Fleck; sister, Margaret Turner; wife, Marilyn Jones. He is survived by his son Kevin Jones (Lisa), Jennings; son Marvin Jones (Sonja), Springfield; son Michael Jones (Heather), Springfield; daughter Melissa Louvier, Grand Rapids, MI

from previous wife, Charlotte Jones (Ferguson), Springfield; brother Mike Jones, Waynesville; step-son Peter Edwards, Battlefield; step-daughter Marlo Edwards-Bruegman (Tyler), Aldrich; 23 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A visitation for Donald will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, 11:00 AM-12:00 PM, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield, Missouri. The funeral service for Donald will follow at 12:00 PM.  Burial at Robberson Prairie Cemetery will follow at a date to be determined.

Donations can be made to the Humane Society or the Eudora Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
