Doris D. Kembel, age 95, passed away on July 11, 2017, in Quail Creek Nursing Facility in Springfield, MO. She was born in Lebanon, MO to Fred and Elsie Lambert. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Calvin Kembel, her parents, sisters; Geneva, Freda, and Dixie Waterman of Lebanon. Doris is survived by her son, Eulis Kembel, daughter, Dorlece Mills and husband, Jeff Mills, grandchildren; Jessica Bentz and husband Hans Bentz, Jacob Martin, and great-grandchildren; Isabella and Sophia Bentz. She is also survived by one sister, Fern Whitaker of Lebanon, and many nieces and nephews. Doris loved helping and doing for others. A very devoted wife, mother, and child of God. She will be missed greatly. In loving memory. Visitation will be Saturday, July 15, 2017, 9:00-10:00am, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral service will be at 10:00am, also at Greenlawn North. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
