She passed away on June 3, 2017 at the Ozark Methodist Manor in Marionville, Mo.
Dorothy was born on September 6, 1928 at Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Frank and Helen Wasmund. She had been a registered nurse and had worked in the Toy Shop at Silver Dollar City. She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harris Hoblit, and two daughters.
