Douglas “Doug” Kevin Barnum

March 25, 1963 - July 10, 2023

       Douglas “Doug” K. Barnum, age 60 of Bolivar, MO, formerly of Osage Beach, MO, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023, at Citizens Memorial Hospital Bolivar, MO.  He was born March 25, 1963, in Williamsport, PA.  He graduated from Halfway High School Class of 81’.  He is a US Marine Corp veteran. 

          Doug is preceded in death by his mother Arlene Eloise Barnum.

          Doug is survived by his wife Diane of the home; four children: Brittany Parker of Lebanon, MO, Joshua Barnum (Cira) of San Juan Capistrano, CA, Justin Barnum (David) of Minneapolis, MN, and Josh “Bub” Barnum of Lebanon, MO; six grandchildren; his father Dennis Barnum of Bolivar, MO; a brother John Barnum (Beth) of Bolivar, MO; as well as several other relatives and friends.

          According to Doug’s wishes his body will be cremated.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  In lieu of plants and flowers memorial contributions are asked to the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center Bolivar, MO: Donations can be made via card or PayPal on the hospital website and selecting “donate” under Carrie J Babb Cancer Center.
