Douglas James Dale was born on February 13, 1971 in Springfield, Missouri to Betty G. Cox Dale and James E. Dale.

He left is earth for his eternal home on August 17 2023.

Doug is survived by his wife; Marita Dale of the home in Hollister, Missouri.  His Mom Betty Moose Dale and significant other Darrell Testerman of Miami, Oklahoma, sister Laura Eaton Jankov and husband Dusan of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, sister Barbara Courtney and husband Steve of Crane, Missouri.  Sister-in law Rochelle Franco and husband Tony of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.  Brother-in-law Paul Cotter and wife Melanie of Brumly, Missouri, brother-in-law Christopher Vanover and wife Robyn of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Children; Justin and Mikayla Payette.  Bonus children: Domonic Cotter and Austin Lyon of Missouri.  Grandchildren, Sebastian, Braxton and Jonah.  Nieces; Lindsay Miller of California, Kristen Crane and husband Justin of Maryland, Miya Bowlin of Missouri.  Nephews; James Courtney and wife Jacque of Missouri, Brandon, Justin and Conner Vanover of Arkansas, Sage, Jasper, Pax of Arkansas, Alex Jankov of Florida, Jeremih Cotter of Missouri, Alex Cotter of Missouri, Zac Cotter of Illinois.  Mother-in-law Terri Lubbard and husband Steve of Missouri.  Father-in-law Doug Cotter of Missouri; and a bonus sister, Loren Boyce.  Doug was preceeded in death by his father, James Dale, several cousins, aunts and uncles.  Both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Doug was a beloved son, brother, father, husband and uncle.  He met the love of his life in 2020.  Side by side he and Marita would garden together.  He grew the best biggest tomatoes you could find locally.  He loved his plants, his flowers and family.  Family was always after God whom he worshiped daily.  He loved fishing.  He always was selfless, he put others always before his own needs.
