Douglas James Keene, born January 1, 1959, to Gordon (Pat) and Gloria Keene, passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2024, in Springfield, MO at age 65. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in Springfield and had a long career at Litton Industries. A lifelong resident of Springfield, Doug was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, attending several games a season at Busch Stadium. He had a passion for working on automobiles. Doug is survived by two daughters Amy and Erin, both of Springfield, a granddaughter Mya, and brothers Larry (Nashville TN), Randy (Lacey WA), Jeff (St. Louis MO) Pat and Greg (both of Springfield) and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother Steve (Huntington Beach CA). In memory of Doug donations can be made to Springfield Animal Shelter.
