SFC Horton was always pushing me to be better. Even now I'm sitting here behind a desk thinking of how I can be better at what I do. He's a good man, a good friend and a good listening ear. Thanks for the support Duane.

I came to the USA from Australia in 1991 to attend Central Christian College. The first person i met at college was Duane. We became roommates and attended classes together. We had are ups and downs as roommates do but Duane was a good and faithful friend. We discussed and debated theology and talked way into the night about life. After college i returned back to Australia and lost contact with Duane. When i heard the news of his passing i was shocked and saddened by such a great loss. But heaven has received him and God has welcomed him into eternal rest. I'll always remember the good times we had mate and my prayers are with all your family and loved ones. RIP Duane.

Duane Horton was just an amazingly awesome person to be around, he was always smiling and you could just simply tell that he cared for everyone he met or knew. He would listen when you needed someone to listen to you and would give advice when you wanted it. You could tell there was something special about him just by the way that he treated people, he was always concerned about the people he was around. At first I did not know what it was about him that was different but I figured out pretty quickly it was his faith and that he let the light of Jesus shine through him. He will be missed by so many people. Duane Horton I will miss seeing your smiling face around. To Duane's wife, son, family, and friends I am sorry for your loss and will keep you in my prayers during this tough time.
