Duane H. Core Sr, 59 of Clinton, MO passed away Monday, August 18th at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. He was born February 19, 1955, in Des Moines, IA to Jacob and Darlene Core. Duane spent many years of his life traveling across the country as a long haul truck driver. In his spare time he loved to fish and tinker in his shop. Duane is survived by one son, Duane “Butch” Core Jr of Strafford, MO, two daughters Lisa Murray of Springfield, MO and Judy Burall of OK; four brothers, Don Core of California, Bud Core, Raymond Core and Wyatt Core all of Springfield, MO; three sisters, Rose Core of Springfield, MO, Beverly Coffman and Glenda Bryant both Cleveland, OH. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Friday, August 22 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East in Springfield, MO.
