Earnest Dean Johnson 85, Springfield, MO. passed away August 6, 2020 after a long illness. He was born in Windsor, MO. on April 3, 1935, to Clyde and Queenie Johnson. He was a retired truck driver for Butternut Bread Company, and a member of the Teamsters Local Union #245. He was formerly a member of the Army National Guard and a member of the Methodist Church. He was a self-taught welder and loved to fix things and see how things worked.
Earnest was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Edna M. Johnson, and his son Riley. He is survived by his wife, Vernay Johnson and his son Russell S. Johnson. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2020 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
