Ed was a dear patient of mine. I loved chatting with him during his visits about his hunting trips, his beloved wife, and his sweet little dog. Last November, he told me all about his promise to always take his nephews hunting in Mark Twain, and he was sad to say it would be his last year - he definitely made the most of it, and I know he loved being out there. He always loved the fresh fruit and veggies in his garden in the spring and summer, and talked so highly of his daughter that helped him maintain the garden. She took such good care of him, and he loved her dearly. As much as he always told me he was ready to go, he had a rich life until his last days. No one is as lucky as me for knowing Ed Mitchell. May he spend eternity with his dear Margie.
