Edward Carroll Jr. was born January 10, 1964, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Juanita Shepherd and Edward Carroll Sr. He entered into his heavenly rest on December 11, 2024, at his home in Ridgedale, Missouri with his family by his side. Known to his family and friends as “Big Eddie”
On September 15, 1987, he married the love of his life Letta (Scott) Carroll. He became a member of the House of Prayer Yocum Pond in Reeds Spring, Missouri in 2023.
Edward worked for many years in Branson as hotel maintenance following that he became an over the road truck driver, he drove with his nephew and brother-in-laws. After getting off the road for good, Edward worked at Big Cedar Lodge. Edward was a one-of-a-kind man. If you knew him, you would have a friend for life. He loved NASCAR and everything, racing. You can guarantee that he always had some kind of joke or something to say that would leave you smiling. One thing about him without a doubt is the love he had for his family and friends.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents Juanita Shepherd and Edward Carroll Sr., brother Ronnie Brigs Carroll, and niece Patience Leonnie Carroll.
Edward is survived by his beloved wife Letta Carroll of Hollister, Missouri, children Edward Carroll III (Little Eddie) and daughter Molly Carroll of Hollister, Missouri, brother Fred Brigs of Scottsville, Kentucky, sisters Theresa Keen (Jerry) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Lindsey Carroll and Brittany Maybee (Michael) of Hollister, Missouri. 9 grandchildren; Emma, Edward IV, Karrigan and Izzabella Carroll all of Scottville, Kentucky. Kynlee, Eli, Maverick Carroll and Brantlee Layton of Branson, Missouri. Mya Moore and Millie Smith of Hollister, Missouri. Nephews OD, Raymond, Josh, Jerry Lee, Brayden, Michael and Stetson. Nieces Susie and April.
