We were told about EJ's passing today in our Sunday School class at First Baptist Nixa where EJ and Alma attended. We were heart broken to know of his passing. We loved this dear man of God so much. He loved the Lord with all his being. It was always such a joy to visit him and his dear wife, Alma. Such sweet people. We will miss him, but rejoice in knowing that he is in Heaven with our Lord and we will see him again.

After God removes wickedness and suffering, the earth will be transformed into a paradise. Then people will be able to live forever in perfect health and happiness. God’s Word foretells: “[God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”—Revelation 21:4. In that new world, even dead ones will be brought back to life to share in those blessings: “There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15) That is why Jesus Christ could tell a repentant evildoer who expressed faith in him: “You will be with me in Paradise.”—Luke 23:43. My dad, my hero. What a wonderful daddy, grandpa and friend and what an everlasting legacy he has left behind, one which we will all honor and remember. We miss him already but we are all so very blessed that he is no longer in pain and in the everlasting arms of our all mighty Lord. Our prayer is that each and everyone who has known him will not only remember the way he loved the Lord and his witness but will search our hearts and those that have experienced the love and salvation of the Lord Jesus will continue to grow, learn and walk in His light and for the ones who has not experienced this great gift of love will do so soon, for that was what our dad and grandpa would want. God bless us all.

Praying for comfort for your family at this time of loss Of Elbert. To be absent from the body is being present with his Lord. You can solace that he is suffering with physical ailments. Rejoice that you have the promise of seeing him again.
