Elton Dean Ritter age 67 of Kissee Mills peacefully lost his courageous battle with cancer while surrounded by his loving family on July 23, 2015. He was born on December 30, 1947 to BettyLamb and Donald Ritter. He spent his early years with his 10 siblings on a farm in Afton Iowa. He later moved to Bondurant, Iowa where he graduated from high school with high honors in wrestling. Immediately after high school Dean joined the United States Army where he spent his enlisted time in Viet Nam.
He married Barbara Ball of Des Moines, Iowa on April 5, 1979. After five years of marriage, they with their three children moved to Southwest Missouri. Here he dedicated over 25 years of his life working at Table Rock Asphalt in Branson, Missouri.
Dean was welcomed into eternal lie by his mother and father, Betty and Don Ritter, two brothers, Jack and Ronnie and three sisters, Judy, Lynda and Cynda.
Dean is survived by his wife, Barbara, two sons, Tom of Merriam Woods and Steve of Rockaway Beach, one daughter Jessica Williams of Forsyth, 10 grandchildren and five sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 27, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson with Pastor Barb Johnston officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors in the Snapp Cemetery at Forsyth, Missouri.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 PM Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
