Ernestine Bennett was born October 25, 1926, in Springfield, MO, the only child of Eddie and Florene (Steele) Hunt. They preceded her in death.
She married Earl Bennett, November 6, 1948, and they had two children, and 62 years together, before his passing January 19, 2011.
Ernestine was a faithful member of Seminole Baptist Temple for 65 years.
Survivors include her son, Rick; daughter, Diana and husband Gene; and grandsons, Corey and Chad; she is also survived by several cousins; and three nieces on the Bennett side.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Eastlawn Cemetery.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
