Ethan Alexander Brazee was born June 23, 1997, to David and Lisa (Large) Brazee at the Centre County Community Hospital in State College, Pennsylvania. In February of 1999, his parents moved back to Grand Forks, North Dakota where his father grew up. Ethan was home schooled and graduated in May of 2015. Ethan went on to graduate from the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, North Dakota, through the Think Big Butler Caterpillar Program where he received his Associates Degree in Diesel Technology. Growing up, Ethan earned a scholarship to attend the Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. Ethan was also active in the Civil Air Patrol from 2009 to 2014 and earned the Billy Mitchell Award. On June 30, 2019, Ethan received Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour. Soon after, Ethan met Chasity Huff. They grew to love each other and were married August 15, 2020, at Bible Baptist Church in Ash Grove, Missouri. Ethan moved to La Russell, Missouri in May of 2020. He became a member of Bible Baptist Church and enjoyed serving the Lord where he made many new friends at church and the surrounding communities. He had recently started his own excavating business. Those who knew Ethan recognized his outstanding work ethic as well as his love for life. When plan “A” didn’t work, he always had a plan “B”, “C” or even a “D”. Ethan was always working on motors, from boats to “souping” up diesel motors. His generous nature was known by all. But most importantly, anyone who knew him could not mistake his love for his Lord. He had a zeal to share with others Christ’s love for them. Ethan will be greatly missed by his wife Chasity, his family, and those who had the privilege to know him.
Ethan is survived by his wife Chasity (Huff) Brazee; his parents David and Lisa (Large) Brazee of Thompson, ND; his sisters Leanne Brazee and Stephanie Brazee of Thompson, ND; his Grandmother Evelyn (Svoboda) Brazee of Grand Forks, ND. His grandparents, Robert and Patricia (Connor) Large of Spring Mills, PA; his Aunts Kathy Large of State College, PA; Troy and Laurie (Large) Dennis of Annville, PA; his uncles Michael Brazee of Bemidgi, MN; Timothy Brazee of Spring Valley, WI; his cousins Benjamin Dennis, Alyssa Dennis, Anthony Brazee, Gabriella Brazee, and Michaela (Brazee) Sherwood.
