Ethan Robert Long

Even after 6 years I'm still mourning the death of one of my greatest friends. We tried to be there for him but there's just so much one person that was so young could help another. I wish the government and schools could actually do something for all of us instead of brushing it off. We miss you Ethan and love you.

Ethan was one of those friends whose friendship you didn't know you really had until you lost it. I wish we could've spent more time together. I miss you ethan and hope that where ever you are I hope that you are happy now.

My boys went to school with Ethan. Dakota was a friend and misses his friend dearly. Ethan and his family are in our prayers. We're so sorry for this great loss. He was a wonderful kid.

My children go to Central, but I did not know Ethan. I do know what it is like to be a parent who is in constant fear of losing a child and I am so sorry you have experienced that loss. Thank you for your willingness to share.

Ethan was a wonderful young man with a tremendous smile. We were always happy when he was in the room and the Central Band will miss him greatly.

I've known Ethan for about 2 years. We never got close until the end of 8th grade but he was the person I could turn to at anytime. He checked up on me everyday of this freshman year. He always made sure me and the rest of his friends were okay and would do anything to cheer us up. We non stop would talk about The Office, that 70s show, and Pokemon. He was one of the most amazing people I have ever known.

I was Ethan and Gracie’s first grade teacher at York Elementary. Like many have said, Ethan was so kind and loving. All the boys wanted to be like Ethan! Some of my favorite memories of Ethan are how he took care of Gracie! Praying for sweet Gracie and the rest of the Long family!

Ethan was a great person and a great friend. We have been friends since sixth grade and he was always there to talk to or to cheer you up. He was nice and kind and wasn't ever mean to anyone. We all loved him and we'll miss him.

For the 3 years i have known Ethan he was always the person to make our day better if we weren't having a good day or in genral tried to make us laugh and was one of the the nicest kids i personally have ever known we will miss you greatly Ethan

I love you Ethan, out of the four years I've known you, I've learned there aren't a lot of people you can rely on, but you were one of the only people I could trust. I didn't know you as much as I should have, We all love you SO much. I am never going to meet someone who cared as much as you.

I haven't seen Ethan in a couple of years. I went to Pipkin with him for 6th and 7th grade. Every year I had at least 2 classes with him and we would talk every day. He always was so kind to me and always cared. No matter what was going on in your life he would listen and really care what happened and would always try to help. He had a heart of pure gold and I am extremely sorry that this has happened.

Ethan was one of my best friends and I loved being with him.

I just wish you knew how many people care about you, and how sad we are about you leaving us. We sat in culinary today just staring at were you would have been, but instead we are left with an empty chair. you will forever be remembered in my life and in the lives of many of your friends, and as time passes we will feel better about it but it will always be hard. Just know people DID CARE. I hope to see you someday!

Thank you so much for being my friend. I enjoyed your partnership with me even though it was short lived. I was happy to help you and try and make your depression easier and listen to your thoughts. You won't be forgotten by a bunch of people. WE wont let you be forgotten.

I was the Principal where Ethan was a student. He was always such a good kid, student and helper to others. He was so kind to his sister one day when she didn't want to leave her new kitten and he helped her through a tough day in a child's eye. God has good helper with Him.

I had Ethan for three years as a student. We had so many laughes in Spanish class. One of the many I remember is when a friend of Ethan's said it was wrong to take the left over shampoo when checking out of a hotel. We (Ethan and the class and I) had a running joke with him. Once I had a conference and brought him a bottle of shampoo. Ethan laughed. I know that you will be missed by many Ethan. To the family. My heart breaks for you. I know that you are hurting and missing your little guy right now. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Me and Ethan had Biology together in the mornings.. We usually always talked he was so smart. He knew so much about Bio and just everything. He had a good heart. I'm gonna miss him. Miss seeing him in the halls and waving or just saying hey Ethan what are you reading or asking him what snack he brought in today. He was a good friend. I Just wish I could've said something sooner.

I didn't know you at all but I seen you around school. If any of us had just a chance to talk to you about anything you needed we would take that I'm a heartbeat. So many people miss you Ethan we all miss you. You will forever be loved by many❤

I wasn't close to Ethan, but he was a really nice guy. He knew how to make you laugh, and he gave his best on the track. He even remembered me from middle school after two years of no contact, when we had spoken maybe twice back then. What's funny is he didn't remember my name, but he remembered the type of music I like. I only wish I'd gotten to know him better.

I've known Ethan since elementary and he was a close friend of mine. He was also in my biology class and was a teammate in track. He was by far one of the more kind hearted, intelligent, and helpful friend that anyone could have. May he read in peace.

Me and Ethan had Biology together. He was always joking and laughing with my other friend and I always hear about how nice and helpful he was. Things will never be the same I hope he's in a better place now.

Ethan was in band with me. Together we survived many concerts, learned together and many time we just hanged out and played games together. He was like a brother I never had. I will always miss him and my heart & soul is going out to his family. It was a fun one.

Ethan was what I would consider my best friend. It breaks my heart to have to tell my family that my friend died. I talked with him through lots of sleepless nights and lots of nights when he was feeling depressed and suicidal. Thank you so much Ethan for being there for me, thank you for all the smiles and the laughs. My heart goes out to his family I know this is very hard for you. As a close friend my love goes out there

I barley knew Ethan. We had Biology together and he sat on the other side of the room as me, and he seemed as if he was the most innocent, kind hearted, and full of joy. He would be the first person to answer any questions asked , so I assumed he was smart. He used to always be at the top of the board on kahoot and all I could think is what kind of future he could have ahead of him. Now I regret not talking to him as much. Rest easy Ethan ?

We were in the same section in band, trumpets. He had the brightest smile and kindest eyes. He’s in a great place now. Prayers ?
