Roberta Daniels, age 91, of Springfield passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012, at Mercy Villa. She was born on March 25, 1921, in Springfield, MO, the daughter of Ed and Nellie Ellingsworth. She married Alva Daniels on July 31, 1937. She was retired from General Electric. She was a member of Galloway Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alva Daniels, her daughter, Pat Haden and three brothers, Raymond, Ivan and Buck. She is survived by her grandchildren: Kurt Haden and fiance Bobbi, Dawn Hale and husband Quent, seven great-grandchildren: Dani, Hana, Bailey, Leah, Cassidy, Sarah, and Jess, one brother, Jack Ellingsworth and his wife Ardell, and her son-in-law, Don Haden, a special niece, Vickie Ricketts and her husband Todd, and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Chaplain Ann and all the Nursing Staff on the Love Unit at Mercy Villa and to Jennifer and the nurses at St. John’s Hospice.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 17, 2012, at Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gideon Bible Fund.
