Bossman, you were a thoughtful, generous and loving person. You showed love to everyone you met. People felt seen and heard in your presence. Abena remembers how you always took time to talk to her when you saw her. Kwaku enjoyed talking sports and video games with you. Eunice will miss how you will say Eunice “eti sen” and give her a hug anytime you saw her. How you checked on her mom. I will miss the times we spent chatting about everything from our experiences growing up, to sports and finances. You were our grill master at our parties and the African picnics. We teased you because you were a Dadabee and a tall Ashanti. You were a true Ashanti Royal but you were so humble. You never flaunted your royalty. Felix, even in death you are an inspiration, you touched so many lives. I know how strong you were and how hard you fought to be there for your family and friends. You did your best, We will carry your legacy forward. We will be there for Tiffany and the kids. Rest now in the bosom of the Almighty until we meet again. Damirifa Due!!!!!!.

I'll miss coming to your place and eating the spiciest food ever! You were for sure the host with most! I'll miss the random banter about our football teams. You were the only one who would text me when the Vikings were doing good! Haha. Everyone else just texted when they were being the typical Vikings! I'm sorry for not keeping in touch as much this past year and coming to check on you. I will try and make that up. But now my senior oga... king of Zamunda... chief of chief's...lala salama my guy... lala salama! Rest well baba! You will be missed beyond measure by so many! Until we meet again Big Fel!

My dearest brother Felix. Your demise has left a big vacuum in our hearts. Mum, dad Frankie and l are all just broken hearted. Your family, wife and children are all devastated. We were not expecting this. We were praying and thus hopeful you will get better. The pain is so deep. And it hurts so bad. But we take consolation in the fact that you are in heaven with the Lord. God knows best and who are we to question God. May you rest in perfect peace my darling brother. Farewell. You will be missed dearly.

Felix was a good person to work for. We loved coming in every weekday to do the things we loved for our extended family, the outfitters at Bass Pro Shops. At first he was like a friend, then became like a brother and had wisdom like a father. He always inspired me to become better and even now I am and want to be a better person because of him. He was always so considerate and kind even when I would not meet his expectations. He helped me as I overcame 40+ years of depression and the death of my mother. Felix was such a man of honor, integrity and strength that I knew I could talk to him about anything. I pray that his wife and children would find peace and joy in the happy memories. We will see him alive and well in Heaven someday and he will be known even as we have known him here. Felix, you were a friend that stuck closer than a brother. I know you have found peace and rest my friend!

Felix was such charismatic personality, a unique combination of strength, humility, gentleness, and killer style to boot. Despite his multitude of achievements, there was not a single air of superiority about him. Instead, he cared so so deeply about people more broadly, his family and friends specifically. He was never too busy to check in on a friend or loved one. He was ever ready to provide support in any shape or form, just say the time and place and you can count on Felix to show up if you need him. His charm, whit, charisma, soothing voice, and infectious smile will be greatly missed. We mourn his loss now but will hold on to many fond memories he left us with, earnestly looking forward to our reunion one day in the bosom of our Lord. Rest well kind friend, rest well! Nathan and Judith

These things are never easy to do. I’m still having a hard time believing I’m writing this to my brother Felix. So with some “quaff” or “wash wash” as we call it, here we go…! It was just less than a month after I had relocated to Springfield, MO from New Jersey that we met. And like everyone else you encountered, it was a go right from day one. We kept our brotherhood strong for well over 20 years. We did a lot together; seasoned meat, cooked, ate from the same bowl like we traditionally would back home, took college classes, and worked together at some point in our lives for the same employers. We would convene at a location, typically one’s home and grill while we took a few sips of something good and “politic’d,” as we called it. We also took many trips out of town together where we would meet with our brothers from other parts of the country and would have some good times. You were God fearing and a family man who took care of your family the very best you could. You were such a kind and humble giant, not only to me, but also reached my extended family. When any of my family visited from outside Springfield, you made it a point to stop by and see them or take them out on the town and “Spread” them, or just host them at your home. So kind you went above and beyond to make one feel at ease and welcome. “Yallo” as you would say in your soft voice as you called on me with that infectious smile, rest well chaley! You will be missed paaa. Heaven has indeed gained a genuine Angel. Watch over Tiffany, Julius, Ashanti, and the entire clan of amanfu) you have touched here on earth. Until we meet again, one luv. Bless up mi bredda. ???????????????? ???????? Rasta #Sankofa Barracks ❤️????????

My brother! from the Motherland Ghana, it's been very difficult for me to say the least that I don't get to call to talk to you anymore. I find myself sending you a message and then realize I could no longer talk to you. From our days in college, when we migrated to the US in August of 1998 to pursue our wildest dreams, I never in a million years thought this day will come this soon. For you to be gone this soon!!! All I have left now is to cherish the memories we shared together. I remember people will always ask us are you brothers, and your respond was always YES, that's my junior brother although you were my junior brother. You were always a protector for your family and friends. You were kindhearted and that smile of yours made the world a better place. I miss you dearly and although you are gone too soon you will never be forgotten. I will never understand why such a good person is taken away from us this soon, but my faith is in the Lord and HE knows best. Rest well my brother!!! Damirifa Due! Due! Due!

To say goodbye to a friend is always hard but to say goodbye to Felix is heartbreaking. Although we lived far apart, he in Springfield, we in Nairobi, Kenya he was very special to us. One thing we will never forget is how caring and concerned he was about everyone. When we could visit our daughter and her family in Springfield in the winter, we would always get terrible colds and Felix took it upon himself to always get us ginger tea so that we could fight our colds. That was the kind of person he was, We would always inquire about his health from our daughter Nicola because we cared so deeply for him so we are devastated to learn of his passing. We will miss him greatly but he will always be in our hearts. Our thoughts go out to Tiffany and the kids.

My mans I always found myself calling you. Now that I think of it my mind was reminding me of the fact that you were more than just one of us. You had the best of all of us in you; strong, smart, kind, considerate and loving. I will forever remember your eyes and the effect you had whenever you walked into a room. Everyone wanted to be around you and all us guys wanted to be you. You were a sucker for punishment hence your many college degrees. I sure enjoyed butchering goats and I will sure miss being on the grill cooking beside you. My mans, my friend you were more like a brother, my heart pains that you are not here. You fought a good tough fight rest well my friend.
