Ferol was born in Springfield on April 2, 1931, to Julian and Dorothy Davis. She passed peacefully in her sleep on February 2, 2020. She lived the majority of her life in Springfield. She married Ronald Jones from Fox Hill, Va., in 1952. At that time Ferol and Ronald moved to Hampton, Va. And lived there for 12 years, then they moved back to Springfield with their 2 children, David and Nance. She was a full time wife and mother. She was a devoted Christian, a member of Dale St. UMC (Now Pathways UMC) for 79 years,
Ferol was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Donald Lee Davis. She is survived by her son David Jones and Christy, daughter Nance and Randy McFarland, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2020, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, at Hazelwood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
