My Aunt Fonda was a wonderful woman. A loving mother with lasting dedication to her family and my Mom. As kids we'd make visits to Springfield and Little Rock and enjoy great cooking that included cornbread and fresh crappie or bass caught by Uncle Carl. Fonda leaves behind a great legacy with my family. She personally made one of her magnificent quilts for each of my 3 boys and they treasure them today more than ever. Aunt Fonda, I send my love and know you are now embraced by your Mom and Dad, Velda and Cecil. You're home again! Amen !

My aunt Fonda was ever loving and thoughtful. For years, she faithfully boxed up and sent me her home-canned produce she and Carl grew every year in their garden. She was also a true artist with her beautiful quilting, and I'm glad to have the special one she made for me. She left our family with many happy memories.

There is no time in our lives, when it is easy to say goodbye to those we love with all our hearts. My little sister is now with our mother and dad, who will greet her with hugs and kisses and tell her....YOU DID GREAT!!!!! Her legacy in life will live on with Carl, Layne, and Tracy. And I have a lifetime of memories and photos.

Fonda is one of my favorite people in the world. She and Carl have been a treasure to me and my son for forty years. I cherish our memories and will always be grateful for the positive influence she had on us. I love her husband Carl as a treasured friend and her children Tracy and Layne are so special. I mourn with each of them and send my love as comfort to them in the coming days.
