Frances Louise Rebo passed away on May 10, 2024, at her residence in Bolivar, Missouri at the age of 91. She was born on February 24, 1933, in Lewis County, Missouri. Frances was a beloved wife to Francis Rebo to whom she married April 9, 1955, and a dedicated mother to her children and family.
Frances led an active and fulfilling life. She loved dancing, fishing, gardening, canning, and crafts. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence were always present in all that she did. Frances was a testament to the value of hard work and determination. Her resilience and strength inspired all who knew her.
Frances is a published poet with three poems residing in the US Library of Congress, plus other published works.
Frances will be dearly missed by her family and friends for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents Henry “Jake” and Elizabeth “Louise” (Bick) Logsdon; her son Kevin Scott Rebo; two grandchildren: Robert Cole, and Guy Cole, Jr.; brothers: Henry “Ted” and Alfred “Bill” Logsdon; and sisters: Jane Spilker, Alice Jenkins, and Karen Dyer.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years Francis Neil of the home; her daughters: Regina Liveoak (Bob) of Bolivar, MO, and René Judd (Norman) of Jonesboro, AR; five grandchildren: Nikki Cole (Guy), Sam Rebo, Jacob Rebo (Jesse), Tyler Judd, and Ashley Judd; many great and great great grandchildren; two brothers: Reginald Logsdon (Frannie), and David Logsdon (Debra); three sisters: Lucille Abbott, Mary Rhodes, and Joy Edmondson; a brother in-law Daniel Dyer; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
According to Frances’ wishes her body will be cremated. Inurnment will take place at Missouri Veterans Cemetery Springfield, MO, at a later date. Online condolences may be made at: www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
