Mildred Lampe, 102, Springfield, Missouri departed this life March 15, 2017 at her home.
She was born April 15, 1914 in Springfield, Missouri to John D. and Georgia (Gott) Schaeffer.
She served many years as a Secretary to the Principal at Pershing School.
She was a lifelong member of Campbell United Methodist Church.
Mildred loved her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She loved playing bridge, knitting, gardening, theatre and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Sue Plaster and husband Cliff, granddaughters, Jill Gifford, Dana Ulbrich and husband Frank, Erin Pelikan and husband J.B., nine great grand children and four great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, March 17, 2017 and services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, 3540 E. Seminole, Springfield, Missouri with burial following in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Ozark’s Food Harvest.
