Frank L. Bielicke, 66, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on June 27, 2025. Born in St. Louis on May 30, 1959, Frank lived a life full of heart, humor, and generosity.
Frank was a man of many passions: a skilled outdoorsman who found peace in hunting and fishing, and a grill master whose legendary smash burgers and ribs were the stuff of backyard folklore. Whether cheering at a Tournament of Champions game or watching his favorite musicals—Fiddler on the Roof and Oklahoma—Frank brought unfiltered joy and emotion to all he loved. His proud whistle, reserved for moments that touched his heart, will echo in the memories of those lucky enough to hear it.
As a neighbor, Frank was the one you could always count on—ready to lend a helping hand with sincerity and generosity. He kept an immaculate yard, rooted in pride and care, much like the way he tended to his relationships.
More than anything, Frank cherished his roles as son, brother, husband, father, unkie, papa, and friend. He was married to the love of his life, Diana Bielicke, for 28 years. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, devotion, and countless cherished memories. Frank’s friendships ran deep—he gave his heart easily and received unwavering love in return.
For over 23 years, Frank was a gifted and respected manager in retail sales. His leadership was defined by integrity, dedication, and compassion. Colleagues became lifelong friends, and employees flourished under his guidance. Frank’s work ethic and warmth made a lasting impact.
His yard was always immaculate, his sports fandom unwavering, his tears genuine, and his love immeasurable. Frank lived fully, loved fiercely, and left a legacy that will live on in stories told, burgers flipped, and yards mowed with precision and pride.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Frank Bielicke; his mother, Carol Koelling; his beloved son, John Parrish; and his good friend Bruce Rathburn. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Diana Bielicke; his daughter, Wendy Lewis, and her family; his son, Ryan Young, and wife Angela; his son, Kevin Strong; his grandsons, Riley Young and wife Joy, and Max Parrish; his brother, Merle Parsons; his favorite great-aunt, JoAnn Brinkman; his niece, Nicki Turnbaugh; his great-nephew, Brodee Turnbaugh, and wife Taylor; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Loedda and Steve Holliday; best friends, Keith Conklin and Mark Smith; and countless friends who cherished him as family.
