Gail Lee Eddings, age 70, of Republic, Missouri, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 25th, 2021 at her home. She was born August 13th 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. The daughter of Duane Walter Stull and Margorie Ann (Behrle) Stull. Along with her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Stull, her sister in law, Kathy Stull, her nephew, Benji Stull, the Father of her children, Rick Eddings and her brother in law, Shane Eddings.
Gail graduated from Addison Trail High School in Addison, Illinois. She worked for Powertrain in Addison Illinois for numerous years and for a travel agency as well, that allowed her to travel overseas and to other destinations all over the world.
After her parents retired to Arkansas in 1975, Gail soon followed, married, and started a family. Gail had a calling to go into the medical profession. With much encouragement from family and friends she went into nursing school and graduated with her LPN license. A few years later, she returned to nursing school and graduated with her RN and worked for North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison Ark. In addition to maintaining her family, schooling and work, Gail made cakes, professionally to pay her way through her schooling. A few years after receiving her RN, Gail became a travel nurse where she worked in Sterling, Colorado and Clinton, Missouri. She then moved to Republic, Missouri, where she worked at Cox Health in the OR until heroic fight with breast cancer in 2015, ultimately leading to her retirement 2016.
Gail loved going to her grandchildren’s sporting events, traveling, planning parties and being with family at family gatherings, but, most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She was also lucky enough to make wedding cakes for her children’s, niece’s and nephew’s weddings.
Gail is survived by her son and daughter in law, Ted and Melissa Eddings of Springfield, her daughter and son in law, Britt and Amos Beneke of Battlefield; her grandsons Lance Weston and Hunter Eddings; and her granddaughter, Sophia Eddings.
Gail is also survived by her brother and sister in law, Randy and Cathy Stull and Bruce and Marilyn Stull, all of Harrison; her brother in law, Shawn Eddings of Groton, Conn., sister in law, Cheryle and Rudy Montez of California; nieces and nephews and their spouses, Colleen and Keith Wilson, Barry and Angela Stull, Todd Stull, Timothy and Sarah Stull, Lewis and Amanda Stull; a host of great nieces and great nephews; and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life for Gail Stull-Eddings will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. A private family interment will be at a later date.
