Gary Lynn Thomson age 60 of Ridgedale, Missouri ended his 19 year battle with kidney disease on September 1, 2014 at St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
He was born on March 20, 1954 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the son of Murl and Marie “Jo” Tiedemann Thomson. He had been a resident of the area for many years and was an electrical engineer before his illness. He was of the protestant faith.
He is survived by the pride and joy of his life, loving son Zachariah Thomson of Hollister, his mother “Jo” Thomson of Branson, Missouri, two brothers, John and Robert Thomson both of Springfield, Missouri and a sister Jo Ann Stoner of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Murl Thomson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
