Gary Wayne Brakebill 78, Bolivar, MO. passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018, in Mercy Hospital. Gary was born in Pleasant Hope, MO. on February 9, 1941 to Jack and Jewell Brakebill. Gary was saved at the Schofield Missionary Baptist Church, at the time of his death, he was a member of the Tin Town, MO. Missionary Baptist Church.
Gary was preceded in death by his father and by a daughter Rhonda Brakebill. He is survived by his wife, Chris, his mother Jewell Brakebill, two daughters; Debbie Simpson and Dana Jones, a step-son; Richard Holter, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2018, at Pitts Funeral Home, Bolivar, MO. visitation will be Noon to 1:00 p.m. before services Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow, in Pleasant Hope cemetery, Pleasant Hope, MO.
