Glenda Sue Green, age 72 of Springfield, MO, formerly of Bolivar, MO, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017, in her daughters home. She was born August 18, 1945, in Salem, MO, to Herman D. and Martha A. (Burger) Norris. She graduated from Salem High School. She was united in marriage to Charles Green. She attended Freshwater Church Springfield, MO.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charles; five brothers: Bill, John, Kenneth, Troy, and Carl Norris; one sister Bernice Emory; and two brothers in-law: Clarence Ramsey, and Wendy Hall.
She is survived by her daughter Stefanie Putman and her husband Jeffrey of Pleasant Hope, MO; two granddaughters: Sofie and Ainsley Putman of Pleasant Hope, MO; one brother Herman Norris and his wife Donna Wheatland, MO; two sisters: Betty Ramsey of Springfield, MO, and Dorothy Hall of Fulton, MO; three sisters in-law: Patty Norris of Marshall, MO, Dorothy Norris and Doris Norris both of Salem, MO; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 28, 2017, at Pitts Chapel. Graveside committal service will be at 3:30 PM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery Salem, MO.
