Mrs. Gloria Kathrine (Williams) Bilyeu, age 85 of Bolivar, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017, in her home. She was born August 5, 1931, in Fair Grove, MO, to Alvin P. and Vera A. (Hollis) Williams. She was united in marriage to Clifford LeRoy Bilyeu September 10, 1951, and to this union four children were born. Gloria was a self-employed Child caregiver and a Pastor’s Wife. She was a member of Freedom Missionary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Rev. Clifford Bilyeu; her parents; one sister Milda Climer; and three brothers: Wilbur, Hollis, and Bufford Williams.
Gloria is survived by four children: Cynthia Anderson and husband Mark of Springfield, MO, Phillip Bilyeu of Bolivar, MO, Mark Bilyeu and wife Carol of Republic, MO, and Natalee Smith and husband Frank of Springfield, MO; eight grandchildren: Johnny, Shawn, Dusty, Cody, Dustin, Jordan, Travis, and Samantha; 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandson; two brothers: Milburn Williams of Bolivar, MO, and Robert Williams of Iowa; a twin-sister Loria Staffen of Buffalo, MO; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 12, 2017, at 1:00 PM at Pitts Chapel with Bro.’s Joe McGuire and Chris Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Prairie Cemetery.
