Gregory Alan Jennings passed into the loving arms of his Savior, after enjoying 60 years of life, on August 1, 2021.  Born on December 5, 1960, in Springfield, Missouri, to Cecil Edward Jennings and Joyce Colleen (Mackey), Gregory was the baby of the family.  He rounded out this close-knit family, following the births of his siblings, Doug Alan Jennings and Rhonda Leigh Johnson.  As children the family spent time outdoors, developing a love of fishing, hunting, and swimming that Gregory would carry on throughout his life.  After graduating from Crane High School, Gregory would go on to enjoy a 20-year career at Litton Industries as a supervisor, and a 10-year career at Kraft Foods.  During this time, he also raised a family, having two sons Caleb and Jordan Jennings. Gregory is preceded in death by his mother and father, along with his stepmother Marlyce Jennings, and his son Caleb.  He is survived by his brother Doug and wife Kimberly, and his sister Rhonda. He also had the gift of being survived by sisters Marrella and husband Jerry Vinyard, and Jessica Prain; his nephews and nieces, Brandie, Robert, Michael, Jeffery, Christina, Brandon, Zach and Shane; his grandchildren, Milah and Jaxson; and numerous cousins.

The family requests that flowers be sent to Greenlawn Funeral Home North in time for the service.

Visitation for Gregory will be August 18, 2021, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield, MO at 9:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

While the family is dealing with this difficult time, they know Greg is watching over them now, and this brings them comfort until they meet again.
