Dave Parker left a message on June 19, 2023:
I was shocked and saddened to learn of Mitch's death. I met him in the summer of '76 when I moved to Springfield and met him through a mutual friend/bandmate Paul Walling (now living in Springfield) when they were members of Jobe. I have many memories from my time in Springfield ('76-'78) - almost all of them revolving around music. Knowing Mitch and appreciating him as a person and musician was one of the highlights of my time there.

I send my prayers to the family. I am grateful that I got to meet him. I came nervously into his studio never been in one before. He was so patient and kind. If it wasn’t for Mitch, my lyrics would still be untouched. I am grateful that he took the time out of his busy schedule to help me. He will always be remembered. So sorry for your loss. Rose

So sorry for your loss. We just visited with Mitch on Friday. He was Zach and Kyle's guitar teacher for several years and became a good friend of our family.
