Harold Dean Williams
Harold Dean Williams, 71, Springfield, Mo., died Monday, May 17, 2010, in his home. He was born August 26, 1938, in Hood River, Ore. Dean was broker and owner of Dean Williams & Company Realtors. He had been in real estate for 35 years. He also worked a number of years in sporting goods at Consumers Hardware. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching sports. His family came first for Dean. He was a man of a thousand friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Conita Williams; daughter, Sonya Hiller and husband Terry, Springfield; one son, Greg Williams and wife Tammy, Jefferson City; three granddaughters, Stephanie Hiller, Kristy Hiller and Liana Williams; one great grandson, Braden Dean Hiller, Springfield. He will be missed very much by all of us. He was a great husband, father and papa. The love he had for his family was unyielding. He will forever be held in our hearts and the hearts of many others. As family, we find comfort in knowing this is not forever goodbye, instead we will see you later Papa and await the day we see your loving smiling face once again. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
