Harold Norman Napier, age 86, passed away peacefully at his home after a long illness with his closest friends at his side.
Harold was retired from Frisco and Burlington Railroad after 42 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman and proud NRA member and a member of St. James Episcopal Church.
He was a past Master of Willard Lodge #620 and Friend Lodge #352. He was recognized for his outstanding ritual work in the following Masonic bodies: York Rite, Abou Ben Adhem Shrine, Scottish Rite and Knight of the Royal Order of Scotland. He was proud of his Scottish heritage.
Harold will be missed by his friends, his Masonic Brothers and especially his longtime companion, Ms. Shirley Alexander.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. James Episcopal Church, 2645 E. Southern Hills Blvd., Springfield, MO. Burial will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Greenlawn South Funeral Home with Masonic services beginning at 7:00 pm.
