Helen Clemons Addison Gilmore was born December 1, 1913 in Paducah, Kentucky to William and Nellie Grafe and passed away July 26 2014 at Manor Care Nursing Facility in Springfield, Missouri.
Helen was a homemaker but early on was a seamstress at a garment factory and later devoted her time as a volunteer at Cox Medical Center and all of the elections in Springfield.
She is survived by her son Bill Clemons and his wife Peggy of Strafford, Missouri; a grandson Mark Clemons and his wife Kim, Watford City, North Dakota; great granddaughters Olivia and Tara Clemons of Ponte Vedra, Florida. Also surviving are her step-sons Gene and Merle Gilmore, a step-daughter Barbara Hamby and ste-grandson Rick Gilmore all of Springfield; brother in-law Bill Clemmons and sister in-law Virginia McGuire; several nieces, nephews and a special friend Sheryl Birkes of Springfield.

Graveside services for Helen will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Springfield National Cemetery under the care of Greenlawn Funeral Home East. No visitation is planned.
