Helen Lucille Manes, age 86, of Springfield passed away Saturday, November 27th, 2021 at Maples Care Center .
Lucille was born September 17, 1935 in Waynesville, MO, to Alford Corn and Helen Hasting. She was united in marriage to Norman Manes on August 16, 1957, who preceded her in death on January 12, 2016. Lucille and Norman farmed in the Dixon area for several years. She retired from Missouri State University. Lucille attended South Haven Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Henry Allen Manes and wife Peggy. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Honeylee Strain and husband Chad, Hayley Richardson and husband Ben, and Stacy Rust and husband Heath. Great-granddaughters Mylee Wilt, Presley Strain, Avery Rust, and Olive Richardson; 2 great- grandsons, Logan Rust and Rockford Richardson; one great-great grandson, Reed Wilt; and a host of family and friends.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, at 11:00 am in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South
