Ozark, MO—Hervel Eldon Haskins, 86, died Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Century Pines, Ozark, MO.
He leaves his sister Eleanor Haskins and five children: Gary Haskins, Danny Haskins, Beverly Vote (David), Cynthia Haskins, Jeffrey Haskins (Carolyn) and six grandchildren, as well as several great-grandchildren and a great- great
granddaughter.
Hervel had a passion for the fruit and vegetable industry and dedicated his life marketing to processors, retailers and direct to consumers. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday morning, customers lined up to buy his bounty at nearby farmers’ markets. Hervel was also an accomplished home builder and in his early years worked for the railroad. He always had a good story to tell about his life experiences.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 27 at the Selmore Cemetery in Ozark, MO where he will be laid to rest next to his loving wife Ina Faye Haskins. No visitation or viewing is planned. Services are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
