Hildreth Eloise (Cloyed) Brackett was born on June 27, 1935, in Polk, Mo, the seventh child of Alta Fern (Noblitt) Cloyed and Cortna Dolas Cloyed. She was raised in Polk and Fair Grove, Mo. She passed away on October 11, 2025, at Birch Pointe Health and Rehabilitation in Springfield, Mo.
Hilda married James Brackett in 1952. Two children, Karen and Estel, were born to this union.
Over the years, Hilda was a waitress, a bookkeeper, data entry specialist and a sales representative.
During this time, she made dear friends and colleagues in Springfield and St. Louis who will mourn her loss.
She is survived by her children, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two darling great-great grandchildren. There are also numerous beloved nieces and nephews that will miss her greatly.
The family would like to thank the staff at Birch Pointe for the wonderful care for Hilda while she was there.
