Howard Dee Cook, 70, Springfield, MO. passed away April 17, 2022, at Mercy Hospital. He was born on May 9, 1951, in Springfield, MO. to Charles Henry and Ruby (McHaffie) Cook. He was a May, 1969, graduate of Willard, MO. High School. He was a former Zenith employee, from 1970 to 1994, and he retired from Regal in 2015. Howard was baptized into the Baptist Church, and was a member of The Willard Masonic Lodge. Howard loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandson, and his bulldog, Cap Dog

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. and Ruby Cook, and his brother, Dale Cook. On June 27, 1998, in Springfield, MO. he was united in marriage to Shirley Reedy, Shirley survives him and he is also survived by step-sons: Michael Harrison and his wife, Kristen, and Christopher Harrison and his wife, Marla, three grandchildren: Haley, Hayden, and Miles and great-grandson: Paxton Lee, his brothers and their spouses: Charles Cook (Marie), John Cook (Rose), Henry Cook (Jeanie), Ray Cook (Robin), Dwight Cook (Marie), and his sisters: Ruby Pippenger (Jim), and Ethel Blevins (Scott), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A Celebration Of Life Memorial Service will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, 3506 North National, Springfield, MO. The family of Howard Dee Cook wishes to express our deep appreciation and sincerely thank you all for your kind expressions of sympathy and loving support in our time of loss.
