Hunter Cole Baldwin, loving son, grandson, brother, and friend, departed this life unexpectedly on June 11, 2024, at the age of twenty-two. He will be lovingly remembered as a kind, big-hearted soul who never knew a stranger. Hunter was born to David and Kara Paquette-Baldwin on October 15, 2001, in Springfield, Missouri. He grew up in Pleasant Hope, Missouri, and graduated from Pleasant Hope High school in 2020. Throughout high school, Hunter participated in many sports and activities. He was known for being funny, athletic, and very competitive. More importantly, he was known for being a good friend to everyone and a great brother to Sydnee and Luke.
After high school, Hunter enrolled at the Missouri Welding Institute to become a welding tradesman. He proudly graduated from MWI in 2021 and was quickly employed as a welder at Ridewell Suspensions, a division of the Ridewell Corporation located in Springfield. After two years, Hunter left Ridewell to become a welder and installer at Welhener-HB Wall Awning Company in Ozark, where he was currently employed. Hunter loved his job as a welder and looked forward to a fulfilling and prosperous career.
Hunter was a sports enthusiast who loved to golf, play football, and play baseball. He was also an avid outdoorsman who liked to hunt and fish. While he liked the Kansas City Chiefs, Hunter loved the New Orleans Saints. Fewer things brought him more joy than cheering on the Saints to victory. He was especially looking forward to the Saints vs. Chiefs game at Arrowhead in October. Hunter also enjoyed playing Madden NFL and spending time with his many friends.
Hunter was preceded in death by his younger brother, Luke Baldwin; grandfather, Pierre Paquette; great grandparents, Norman and Goldene Hart, David and Patricia Baldwin, Romeo and Yvette Paquette, and Arnold and Virginia Parizo.
