Iona Blanche Pinegar,86, Springfield, MO. passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 after a long illness. Iona was born on July 15, 1931, in Reed Springs, MO. to David William and Ethel Mae (Gregory) Clines. a homemaker, she enjoyed dancing and going to the casino. She was of the Baptist faith and the Eagle Lodge.
Iona was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Sherman Pinegar by her brother: Lloyd Clines., and a sister, Alpha Almond.She is survived by two daughters: Shirley Dalton and Patricia Simpson, six sons: Gene Butler and his wife Jeanie, Dennis Butler, Larry Butler, Ronnie Pinegar and his wife Cindy, Rick Pinegar and his wife Carol, and Kenneth Pinegar and Cindy. She s also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, four sisters: Lola Kramer, Linda Wrinkle, Shirley Denney, and Rose Pinegar and her husband Bill.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
