Jack C. Lee, “Pappy”, of Franklin, Tennessee, formerly of Memphis, Tennessee, and Springfield, Missouri, was born in Arkansas City, Kansas, October 5, 1924. He died June 3, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Brewer Lee. He is survived by his children, Mark D. Lee (Carla) of Lee’s Summit, MO, Kristi Lee Warren of Franklin, TN, grandchildren Jack, Anna, and Emma Lee of Lee’s Summit, Dana (Warren) Warren Herring of Jackson, Mississippi, Robin Warren of Memphis, Tennessee, and Drew Gavin Warren of Franklin. Jack was a flight officer in the U.S Army Air Corp, serving as a bombardier, and retired from Walgreen Agency after more than 30 years of service. Jack was an avid golfer, fisherman, and woodworker and delighted in his grandchildren’s lives and visits during his retirement and later life.
Visitation will be conducted Sunday, June 5, 6-8 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, MO. Graveside services will be conducted at Eastlawn Cemetery in Springfield, MO, Monday, June 6 at 1 p.m.
